Useful information

School Uniform

All children are expected to wear the school uniform:

· Grey/black trousers, skirt, pinafore or shorts.

· White shirt, blouse or polo shirt.

· During warmer weather, children may wear a blue check dress.

· Blue jumper or cardigan.

· Black shoes.

Please ensure all uniform is labelled correctly with the child's name and ideally the class they are in.

Reading Books

Please ensure children bring their Reading Diaries and books to school with them every day. They will be given a new reading book each Monday, to keep for the following week.

Every time you read with your child at home, be sure to make a note in their diary so that they can be in with a chance to win one of our Reading Challenge badges!

P.E.

We will have P.E on Wednesday afternoons. Due to COVID 19 guidelines children are expected to come into school wearing a full P.E kit on this day. The school PE kit is a plain white t-shirt or polo shirt, blue/black shorts or jogging bottoms and plimsolls or trainers. We have a 'no jewellery' policy in P.E lessons, for the children's safety. If your child can’t remove/replace their own earrings please take them out on PE days. We are not allowed to cover earrings with plasters, they must be removed.

School Morning

School gates will be open by 8:45 am. Please bring them to the class door at the start of the day.

They will be greeted at the door and head straight to their classroom to wash their hands.

Snacks

Children can bring in a healthy snack to eat at playtime, this includes fruit, healthy bars etc. It does not include crisps, chocolate or sweets.

Lunchtimes

Lunch is at 12 o'clock and is followed by a period of outdoor play weather permitting, supervised by our midday supervisors. As we are a healthy school, please provide your child with a healthy lunchbox if your child is having a packed lunch.

Home time

Children will be dismissed at 3:15pm. If your children are being collected by a different adult on a particular day then the teacher must be informed. Without this, children will not be allowed to leave the school grounds.
