This Easter, our Stanstead Superstars received a wonderful donation of Easter Eggs from Trace Air. The generous gift brought a lot of joy and excitement to our students.
The Easter Eggs were handed out to the children, who were thrilled to get them. We are very thankful to Trace Air for their kindness and for making this Easter special.
Today, our school was buzzing with excitement as pupils and staff dressed up as their favorite book characters to celebrate World Book Day! From Harry Potter to Matilda, the creativity and enthusiasm of our children were truly heartwarming.
But the fun didn't stop there! We also held a "Reading for Pleasure" session where parents were invited to join their children to read together in the hall. It was a wonderful sight to see parents and pupils sharing their favorite stories and enjoying the magic of reading together.
The day was a fantastic celebration of books and reading, and it reinforced our school's commitment to promoting literacy and a lifelong love of reading. The smiles on the faces of both children and parents were a testament to the power of stories to bring people together.

Oh no look who is back!!!!
On Sunday 28th April, Mrs Smith our fabulous Headteacher took part in a fundraising skydive at Langar Air Field to raise money PASIC- Cancer support for children & young people.
She has raised an amazing £1275!!.
Well done Mrs Smith!! We are proud of your achievement to raise money to support incredibly brave children and you people.
Children & staff dress up for World Book Day. We had Willy Wonka, Little Red Riding Hood, Bat Man, Elvis, lots of super heroes and princesses and much more.
Science day at Stanstead. The children had lots of fun making fossils, volcanoes, dinosaur art and much more.
Thanks to our parent group and staff helpers, our Stanstead stars danced the evening away.
The event raised money for our school fund which in turns pays for all the nice extras that our dedicated school budget cannot.
Rainbows have been exploring our autumn/Halloween provision.
Wow!! What an amazing launch event. Thank you to all who supported us. It was lovely to see so many of you there!
The rain even held off and there was a beautiful rainbow at the end of the event.
YEAR 2 FIRE SERVICE VISIT
Moonlight had a visit from our local fire service today.
The children had a talk from the fire fighter's, they looked around the fire engine, watered our flowers with the hose and saw what equipment they use.
Eco-Club returned this week. The club has lots of new members this year! so much so that Miss Carpenter has had to create 4 groups.
It is lovely that Stanstead has some many children wanting to grow vegetables, grow plants and look after our environment.
