On Welly Wednesday, we talked about Bonfire Night and why it is celebrated. We learned about the history behind the event and the traditions associated with it. After our discussion, we went outside to collect our own sticks and built a pretend bonfire together. We then enjoyed singing songs around our ‘fire,’ bringing the celebration to life in a fun and safe way.
