Congratulations to: Stanstead Primary School
on January 18th, 2011
Congratulations go to
Stanstead Primary School, Nottingham,
for achieving the LPPA on 8th December 2010. The school achieved the LPPA through the School-Led Approach and is the 3rd school to have done so.
The head teacher’s clear vision of parental engagement, the consultation with parents and the welcoming environment were identified as just some of the strengths of the school’s approach in working with parents.
Headteacher, Patricia Vladev, said,
“The planning and preparation for this award had been an integral part of our Vision for the school. All stakeholders have had a part to play in achieving this award and all should take great pleasure in having achieved such a prestigious award. We, as a team, have come a long way in such a short time. Parent Partnership is crucial to our present and future work at the school.
“The process of evaluation was meticulous, the verifier was thorough, but it was a day of celebration and sharing, where we were constantly in dialogue with our verifier. This enabled us to give a full picture of evidence against the portfolio. Mr Taylor was at all times professional, personable and positive towards all staff and parents.”
