There were entrants from all year groups across school for this year's space themed Science competition. We had to wait for a sunny day before we could test whose entries worked and would protect Tim Peake from the harmful UV rays in space.

This year, NASA challenged you to make a piece of Space equipment that would be safe from UV Rays.

We had some fantastic entries from super Space Helmets, Space shoes and socks, Space gloves and even some rockets!

Everyone used the UV beads outside to test their product to see if it prevented the UV rays from getting through.

Professor Know It All said, “Every creation was fantastic! The children had all used different materials to try and make something that would work. Well done everyone!”
