Hello.  On behalf of our Children, Staff and Governors, welcome to Stanstead Primary School's website.

Our school will be celebrating our 30th anniverary this year.  Opened in 1977 we have grown to become a strong community with our parents, carers, governors, staff and children all playing a role in our continued success. 

Stanstead Primary School is a place where learning is encouraged on an individual basis as well as in a year group. We have a team of committed staff who encourage children to do their best and teach a varied range of activities to further their life skills and help them achieve in whatever area they shine.

We have a wide range of backgrounds, abilities, religions and cultures within our school and it is something we celebrate. Our success lies in our constant drive to ensure every child takes pride in their abilities, skills and talents and uses these to help them attain the highest level of education.

Our extended facilities include a thriving breakfast (Stans Breakfast Club) and afterschool club (Stans Afterschool Club) as well as gardening, football, karate, basketball, dance, gymnastics, drama, craft and cheerleading clubs taking place after school every day.

We ensure that our children have a safe, secure and happy place to learn, celebrate their achievements and encourage mutual respect.  We feel that by working together with our children, parents, carers, staff, governors and local residents we can continue Stanstead Primary's achievements and drive the school to even greater success.
